Noble Energy – Leviathan Production Platform (LPP) Project (Detailed Design) – Offshore Israel
The Leviathan Field, an estimated 16 trillion cubic feet of natural gas reservoir, is located in the Levantine basin approximately 135 kilometers offshore Haifa, Israel, at a 1700-meter water depth. Noble Energy is developing a subsea transportation system that connects the Leviathan Field to Israel.
The Domestic Sales phase will consist of connecting four (4) 14-inch infield flowlines from each well to a manifold. The gas will then be exported through dual 18-inch gathering flowlines to the Leviathan Production Platform (LPP) approximately 10 kilometers from the coast of Israel. The system will also be designed to accommodate the Regional Export system, consisting of an additional 14-inch infield flowline and a 20-inch gathering flowline to LPP. Furthermore, this production system will accommodate further development of the Leviathan Field by allowing future wells to be tied in at the well PLETs or manifolds.
From the LPP, a 32-inch Domestic Sales to Shoreline and a 6-inch condensate line will transport Leviathan production/condensate to the onshore system via HDD tie-in.
