Chevron – Mafumeira Sul Project
Mafumeira Sul Project (MSP) is located in the southern portion of Block 0, offshore Cabinda Province, Republic of Angola. This work is being performed as part of the provision of infrastructure facilities for the development of the Mafumeira Field, with a majority of the new development in ~160 feet of water. The development will include the Central Production Complex (CPC) consisting of three (3) bridge-connected platforms, the Production Processing Platform (PPP), the Living Quarters Platform (LQP), and a Flare Tripod, and two (2) remote Wellhead Platforms, Mafumeira Centro and Mafumeira Sul Wellhead Platforms, twelve (12) submarine pipelines and two (2) power cables.
The submarine pipeline work scope includes three (3) gas lift pipelines, three (3) water injection pipelines, three (3) production pipelines, one (1) LPG pipeline, one (1) gas export pipeline, and one (1) oil export pipeline to shore.
CTI is performing the detailed design of the risers with engineering, drafting, and project management responsibilities for this project, including the following:
- Provide Project Management and Interface Coordination between Chevron, Mustang Engineering, and EDG
- Provide Project Controls
- Perform the detailed design of:
- Three (3) risers at the Mafumeira Centro Wellhead Platform
- Three (3) risers at the Mafumeira Sul Wellhead Platform
- Twelve (12) risers at the Production Processing Platform
- Four (4) J-tube risers for the power cables
- One (1) gas export riser located on the Production Processing Platform
